Funky Spine Press is an independent publishing company built around books with personality, purpose, and a strong sense of place. Our growing catalog spans atmospheric fiction, accessible educational resources, and photography books that encourage readers to see familiar subjects from a different perspective.

The press began with a simple belief: a book should offer more than information or entertainment alone. It should create an experience. That experience may be the unease of a supernatural story unfolding at 3:33 a.m., the satisfaction of finally understanding a difficult subject, or the discovery of Bonaire through images that capture the island above and below the water.
